SHELF POLE HOOKS, AN INVENTION OF NECESSITY!

My name is Dave Turbenson, inventor of Shelf Pole Hooks. The concept of these versatile hooks came to me over 10 years ago. I was the owner a internet mail order company that had at least 30 shipping stations. Each one of these stations had a 48 inch wire metal shelf behind them. As we gradually added shipping station as the business grew, I continued to modify these shelving units with pieces of wood, wire and metal so we could hang stuff on the exterior of the shelf and poles. I sold the business in 2010 and the idea of Shelf Pole Hooks sat on the shelf for 6 years.

The idea came up again as I was trying to rig up a shelf pole in my garage to hold a broom and dust pan. I tried rubber coated versions that wedged on to the pole. Those hooks would slide down the pole each time I grabbed items off of them which would loosen the wedge. I tried versions that would grab on to the lines on the poles. No success. Finally the version that I was able to get a utility patent for came to fruition.

Shelf Pole Hooks are currently available on Amazon, Target and Home Depot. Sales are great and the reviews have been excellent. My sales group have met with several national retailers and things are moving forward towards getting these on store shelves. It is only a matter of time.

I have teamed up with Sunway Tools who helped me develop new versions of my hooks and have taken the time to insure the highest standards of quality control. Thank you for taking the time to read about Shelf Pole Hooks.

Sincerely, Dave Turbenson
